Abstract:
Ninety villas are built in the Burgemeester Kootpark in Uithoorn,Netherlands. Ten of those houses are constructed with high thermal comfort
and high energy efficiency, applying ground heat sources and heat pumps to
supply both heat and cold. For the technical installation the following
components are recommended: balanced ventilation with high-efficient heat
recovery and a cooling possibility; 6 kWth heat pump and ground source heat
exchanger; low-temperature heating system (floor heating) and radiators on
the first floor of the house; and a high-efficient combi-boiler to supply
peak load and hot tap water. Also insight is given into cost, investment,
avoided CO2 emission and energy savings
