Financing and cost effectiveness of the use of heat pumps and solarboilers in low-energy dwellings in Heerhugowaard ('City of the Sun'), Netherlands, are studied. One condition is that costs for the occupants must not be higher than the cost for using a gas-fired condensing boiler
