Abstract:

With a change in the Dutch electricity law starting July 2003 (Environmental quality of electricity production, or ?MEP?), the operating support for onshore wind changed to a system in which the feed-in tariff for onshore wind turbines is limited to a maximum of 18.000 full load hours.

 

This report reviews the effects of this system on the development of the production of wind energy in the Netherlands.
