Abstract:
In september 2007, ECN and MNP made an assessment of the expected effects of energy and climate policy of the Dutch cabinet for 2011 and 2020 (working programme clean and efficient). By request of the Dutch Ministry of Housing, Spatial Planning and the Environment PBL and ECN have conducted a mid term evaluation to examine to what extent recent policy developments and new insights require adjustments to the effect projections of this assessment. This report presents the outcome of this evaluation for a number of important policy areas (traffic and transport; other greenhouse gases, the European emission trading system and renewable energy).
