Abstract:
This chapter provides a narrative for an overall low carbon climate resilient development pathway for Kenya. The chapter was developed as a synthesis and introduction to Kenya’s Climate Change Action Plan, bringing together the analysis of adaptation and mitigation needs and opportunities in Kenya, outlined per Government of Kenya planning sector, as well as the supporting analysis of the required enabling conditions for an effective response to climate change in Kenya.
