Presented at: UNFCCC negotiations, Bonn, Germany, June 2014.
Abstract:
This presentation was delivered at a side event to the June 2014 UNFCCC negotiations in Bonn. It argues that NAMA support is becoming a strong ‘brand’ and that NAMAs have features that are attractive for a role in the post-2020 climate architecture. However, there is a risk that by linking it to commitments to the politically sensitive topics currently under negotiation (such as INDCs) may hamper current voluntary bottom-up actions.
