Abstract:
The goal of this research is to find opportunities for the Province of Limburg to start up the transition towards a heat supply in buildings free of natural gas. The report describes the heat market, its current actors and the current developments in this market. From this perspective, the (potential) role of the Province, the municipalities and Enexis (as regional network operator) and their room for manoeuvre in this transition determined, and these results have been used to identify the opportunities to accelerate the transition.
