Abstract:
A fast transition from the use of fossil fuels to renewable energy is necessary because of the combination of the scarcity of fossil fuels,the increasing environmental pollution,and the greenhouse effect.In 2007,this message was emphasised by reports from the KNAW,Ecofys the IEA,the European Union,and Greenpeace/EREC.
