Abstract:
In the Universal Power Manager (UPM) project, the research was focused on the development of a novel energy management system. The UPM integrates novel, complex power electronics with high speed data communication. The UPM is a combination of two advanced technologies. The Atrium, designed by Nedap, contains the hardware with the power electronics and high speed data communication. The Atrium is remotely controlled by ECN’s PowerMatcher tech-nology, which optimizes the energy flows. This document discusses the integration tests between the Atrium and the PowerMatcher.
