Abstract:
The Annual Environmental Reports of the large electricity producers
contain detailed informa-tion on the electricity and heat production
of the Dutch power plants. ECN has collected and analysed this information
for the years 2000 up to and including 2004. The analyses show de-velopments
and trends with respect to the total centralised electricity production,
the fuel gen-eration mix, energy conversion efficiencies, and emission
factors (for CO2, SO2 and NOx). ECN utilises the resulting parameters
in models for future energy scenarios, e.g. the recent Reference Projections
Energy and Emissions (2005-2020).
