Abstract:
The building was audited by means of a visual inspection of building quality, energy aspects and quality and performance of appliances. Additional information came from drawings, energy bills and design documents. Information about management aspects was obtained by interviews with the management of the building. In general it may be concluded, that energy saving potential is rather high. Energy savings can be obtained in the first place by improving the technical management and in particular the energy management. However, technical measures are required as well. Some of these do not ask for high investments and should directly be implemented. But high cost measures are required as well. Unless the economic situation of the involved organisation improves, implementation of these measures is not very likely. 3 tabs., 1 refs., 1 appendix
