Abstract:
This specific study was to conducted to have a more detailed look at individual farms and their situation with respect to particulate matter concentrations. For this purpose, specific data from these farms, like e.g. emissions for individual source points are needed. The provinces and mu-nicipalities have gathered this information and with this concentrations were calculated for the local situation of the individual farms. This report shows the results for a selection of 18 farms from five different provinces. These 18 farms all show lower concentration compared with a previous study on this subject. Extrapolation of these findings to the complete set of farms is difficult due to the very specific local situations. Extension of this first study to this complete set is needed to get a better overview of the specific particulate matter concentrations in the vicinity of the farms.
