Abstract:
This report examines recent historic and future developments of the energy use in the food and nutrition industry and in several of its sub sectors. It touches upon market developments, policy developments and technology developments that may influence future energy use in the sector. It provides insight that may be instrumental for projections of future energy use. However, it does not present a thorough and comprehensive overview of the food and nutrition industry.
