Abstract:
The objective of this report is to compare the results of a wind measurement campaign performed using a meteorological mast (MMIJ) and a ground based LiDAR (LIJ). Both measurement systems are implemented on the offshore meteorological platform IJmuiden, located 85km off the coast of IJmuiden, in the North Sea. The wind measurements used in this study were recorded from 1st January 2012 until 1st January 2014.
