Abstract:
This project aims at the effectiveness of interventions aimed at increasing energy efficiency and reducing energy poverty to make measurable and provide insight into the success factors and bottlenecks. The results allow the development of effective, robust interventions, which contribute to greater energy efficiency and less energy poverty. For this study, ECN is developed a generic monitoring and impact assessment for four local pilot projects aimed at combating energy poverty. The assessment takes place by means of a comparative analysis based on quantitative research and performance indicators. In addition, for each pilot ECN selected a combination of research methods that best fits the intent of the relevant pilot. The results and conclusions are drawn together with consortium partners and external experts to concrete recommendations for future interventions aimed at energy poverty.
