Abstract:
An overview is given of research activities and strategic planning ofresearch at the Netherlands Energy Research Foundation with respect to the
development of sustainable industrial areas in the Netherlands. The central
question is whether the subject of Sustainable Industrial Parks must be
initiated and further developed within the research program of the ECN unit
