The purpose of the WEI-model is to simulate the electricity demand,
natural gas demand and district heating demand of a building, based
on local climate data and the energy supply equipment in the building.
By using multiple instances of the WEI-model with for each an
own building type and energy supply equipment at the same time, the
electricity demand, natural gas demand and district heating demand of
a group of buildings (street or suburb) subjected to the local climate can be simulated.
This
report contains a global description of the functioning of the WEI-model
as it was developed in the simulation environment MATLAB/Simulink.
