Abstract:
The IV-characteristics of dye sensitised solar cells in a monolithicset-up have been measured under different light intensities and under
chromatic light. The cells have been produced for the first time by screen
printing. A 2-diode model, often used in PV cell characterisation, has been
fitted to determine the variations in the shunt and series resistance under
these working conditions. As cell parameters, the thickness of the
intermediate spacer layer has been varied. In particular, the striking case
without spacer layer where the graphite paste is printed directly onto the
titanium dioxide photoelectrode layer has been investigated. 3 refs.
