Abstract:
Solar cells have a metallisation pattern to collect the current.Generally, simple metallisation patterns such as the H-grid metallisation
pattern, a cross-hatched pattern or a full metallisation are used. With the
widely used technique of screen printing, however, virtually any
metallisation pattern of any topology can be realised. The problem is how to
design the optimum topology. This paper presents a design method for optimal
metallisation patterns. 8 refs.
