Abstract:
'The Netherlands is suffering from technology, scepticism’,according to professor Wim Sinke, programme leader of the Energy for Next Generations congress. Germany and Japan, for instance, are in his opinion much more positive, and so developments are taking place much quicker there, which certainly applies to his field of solar energy. He feels that is it a
shame that Shell last year withdrew itself from solar and wind energy, but he understands the strategic decision. ’The company must however not be negative about sustainable sources. This leads to polarisation and only works paralytically.’
