Abstract:
Despite the urgent need for reduction of energy consumption, the opportunities for energy savings in industrial processes appear to be highly underutilized. This study focuses on decision-making processes related to investments in energy-intensive equipment. The aim is to increase our understanding on the role of energy efficiency in decision making and the role of different value chain partners herein. This project is supported by RVO.nl and the Institute for Sustainable Process technology (ISPT).
