Abstract:
The R139-80 series irradiation experiments is part of the ECN materialstest program to evaluate the irradiation behaviour of different types of
austenitic stainless steel. Presented are the final metrology results
obtained from activation monitors in a specimen holder, coded as R139-802,
and irradiated in a TRIO type capsule in the High Flux Reactor (HFR) position
F8. Data about the helium production as well as the number of displacements
per atom are included. The aim of the irradiation of specimen holder R139-802
was to reach a maximum damage level of 4.5 dpa for the loaded specimens at a
temperature of 325C. The main results of the thermal and fast neutron fluence
measurements are presented and indicate a damage range of 3.7 to 4.3 dpa. 2
