Abstract:
The Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) is increasingly important to boost greenhouse gas reducing projects in developing countries. The procedures of CDM, however, make the implementation of small-scale projects that operate many decentralised installations difficult. A solution may be to bundle many small CDM projects into one, and thus streamline project registration, monitoring and verification. This publication, implemented by ECN and IT Power, provides a useful handbook to the bundling of CDM projects.
