Abstract:
The study on the title subject was performed to identify thepossibilities of CIS solar cells. The interest in thin film CIS solar cells
is growing rapidly. The potential of CIS mostly stems from its possible high
stable efficiency at production costs comparable to other thin films (e.g. a-
Si, CdTe). The main drawback of CIS is the limited resources of indium, which
limits the total amount of CIS solar cells. However, this is only expected to
be a problem on the very long term, so CIS is considered an attractive option
to precede a 'final' thin- film PV material. 32 refs.
