Abstract:
Since the IEC61400-1 (2005) edition 3 standard has been issued the statistical extrapolation
of responses for the ultimate strength analysis is part of the design of wind turbines. At ECN
a software tool WT-ERA is developed to facilitate statistical extrapolation for the wind turbine
industry. This report is a user’s manual for the WT-ERA software.
