Abstract:
After several years of experience with Long Term Agreements on energyefficiency with the industry and services sector, the Dutch Ministry of
Economic Affairs has formulated ideas for a second generation of agreements
on energy efficiency with extended themes. For the services sector these
themes are renewable energy, sustainable building and sustainable mobility.
This report provides options for the definition of energy efficiency
improvement and the themes. A definition refers to the reach of a theme and
the formulation of targets, by means of which the ambition of a theme is laid
down in the agreement. Energy saving potentials of the themes are calculated
for the sectors of health care, education, banking and assurances, sport and
recreation, and supermarkets. 45 refs.
